Brno Museum Night 2011

The seventh Brno Museum Night is approaching. It breaks loose on Saturday 14th May from 18:00 to 24:00. This year you will again be able to enjoy guided tours of exhibitions after dark, dozens of attractive exhibits, art workshops, lectures, concerts, theatre performances, food tasting, examples of crafts, fashion shows and many other popular events taking place as part of the Brno Museum Night. Preparations for this magnificent celebration of museums and galleries are in full swing.

The Brno Museum Night keeps developing. We do everything to improve things both regarding the preparation of this very special event and, first and foremost, the everyday work in our institutions. Are we successful? What could we do to see you more often as visitors in the museums and galleries? What might deter you and what would entice you? Your answers to these questions are important for us. We decided to take the opportunity of this year's Museum Night to receive valuable feedback. Apart from a questionnaire that you can fill in either in the printed programme brochure or on website, every participating institution will reserve a space where you will be able to express your opinion.

The Brno Museum Night is part of the Museum Night Festival organized by the Czech Association of Museums and Galleries with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic. It takes place with a financial support from the City of Brno and with a crucial contribution by the Brno Public Transport Authority which provides free transport of visitors to the exhibition buildings outside the city centre.
