Crosses, a helicopter and a tree trunk - they are the
frequent themes depicted on his canvases by British artist Fraser
Blocklehurst who lives in Prague.
For his exhibition in the Moravian Gallery he chose a series of paintings on unstrung cloths and large papers. His method of painting is largely expressive, loose brush strokes create a record of situations and the muted colours present the viewer with alternatives of the artist's view of reality. The exhibition is the last in the series curated by Richard Adam for the Moravian Gallery.
