The “Growth” exhibition showcases objects on the border between free art and design. The subject follows in the tracks of the “Virus” collection of jewellery from 2011 for which jewellery maker Zdeněk Vacek and designer Daniel Pošta received the Czech Grand Design award. The project crowns the five-year period of the development and exploration of the unique process of controlled crystallization of minerals.
The exhibition takes the viewers into an imaginary laboratory where they distinguish the fragments of the "Virus" collection transformed into abstract sceneries. The presented objects freely paraphrase perceptions that the artists encounter in the course of their work. The only pieces of jewellery on display are Virus necklaces from different periods of development, manifesting the evolution from the first spatial sketches to the most recent pieces.
