Folk Ceramics from the Collection of the Moravian Gallery in Brno

To this day folk ceramics provides a remarkably alive picture of the variety and skilful dexterity of its past creators. In the MG collection the production of folk jug makers from Moravia and West Slovakia is represented by vessels for common everyday use as well as original figurative works. The exhibits span the period from the oldest items falling into the second half of the 18 th century to folk production from the beginning of the 20 th century. Voluntary admission fee.
