Klara Sipkova is a graduate of the jewellery studio at the Academy of Arts Architecture and Design in Prague led by Eva Eisler.
Nominated twice for the Czech Grand Design award, she is already well established among top young designers in her field often collaborating with leading Czech fashion designers. She is a co-founder of the jewelery association Unosto. Her earrings, bracelets, brooches and rings have very quickly found their customers not only in Prague but several European countries and the US.
In her designs Klara often employs hi-tech production methods while other times she stays true to her background of meticulous handcraft. Stainless steel and titanium are among her favourite materials however in several designs she favours more traditional materials like gold and diamonds. Even though most of her work is rather minimal and based on simple geometry, Klara is no stranger to romantic decors and organic form.
"I like jewellery that has a story. In my eyes the value is not defined merely by the material. A piece of jewellery reflects its owners taste - I find intriguing how each client responds to the story I see behind a piece and ads their own chapter"
All designs are produced in limited editions or to order for individual clients.
