Collegiality and Controversy Josef Hoffmann and the Architects of Moravian Modernism from the Wagner School in Vienna

Josef Hoffmann was from a generation of talented architects from Moravia, who in his formative years was greatly influenced by his study of architecture under Otto Wagner at the Academy in Vienna in 1900. During his studies he also met his fellow countrymen and future colleagues - Josef Maria Olbrich from Opava and Leopold Bauer from Krnov. By showing drawings, photographs and texts the exhibition will draw attention to the collegial as well as conflicting relationships that Josef Hoffmann had with his fellow countrymen between Moravia and Vienna.
