With his progressive output this young designer has become a renowned name on the contemporary scene at home and abroad. His realized designs include the iconic 002 chair for the Ton company and the deaf servant Mr Zak for the Finezza Design company. In his work he has managed to functionally combine traditional training with the principles of product design, the results are typified by structural simplicity and precisely worked-out detail. Juřica lives and works in Brno. During the Design.Live! show some of the works by Jaroslav Juřica will be on sale in the Museum of Applied Arts shop.
