Pavla Sceranková: Constellations

Pavla Sceránková (1980) created a site specific project for the Moravian Gallery in Brno at the centre of which is an ingenious levitating construction imitating constellations of stars complete with a three-dimensional model of the trajectory of the heliocentric movement of the planets. The cosmic order as the unified principle of the soundly working harmonically attuned forces is set against the imbalance of many of the systems established by man.
