The Most Beautiful Czech Books 2010

The exhibition presents the results of a competition organized every year by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and the Museum of Czech Literature in Prague. The jury, consisting of leading experts in book culture and presided over this year by Václav Jirásek, assessed so far the greatest number - 250 titles - in the competition's history. It was also exceptional that the prizes for illustration, graphic design and the Vojtěch Preissig Award were received by university art students. In the Ambit of the Governor's Palace visitors will find the awarded works alongside the short-listed ones in order to gain a good idea of the current standard of book production.
