A summer house situated amidst greenery or a French-style garden
was considered a place of pleasure and joy, lieu de plaisance, in
baroque times. A graphic art collection was a standard fixture in
such resorts. The exhibition focuses on a small section from a
large graphic art collection assembled for the chateau in Rájec nad
Svitavou. In comparison with similar collections assembled in the
mid-18th century, it has survived almost intact in its original
situation. The exhibition presents a representative selection of
the French graphic art.
