The Pavilion project was created by Dorit Margreiter for the 2009 Venice Biennale as an original deconstruction of the ideal exhibition hall, designed by Josef Hoffmann in 1934.
The exhibition at the Josef Hoffmann House in Brtnice constitutes a specific attempt to rewrite the 2009 constellation while developing, on the basis of a confrontation of contemporary artist Dorit Margreiter's work with original sketches of architect and designer Josef Hoffmann, a loop in time and meaning, interlacing the prototype with postproduction.
