Come to Moravian Gallery - great place to spend time with children! From now on we will regularly read handpicked books to children in English, followed by an art workshop related to the stories. We will also present special English art books from our gallery library to children and there will be an opportunity to make adventurous expeditions to our exhibitions. The program, which will happen once a fortnight, is perfect for kids from 2 till 7 years of age.

But whatever age you are and language you speak, you are welcome. Storytelling is a great way to boost imagination and language development. Main lecturer: Diana Buritica. Today we start our new book club! 

Follow the journey of a little girl to find out what museums are and what they have inside. She will find giant bugs, peculiar beasts, ancient pots, contemporary paintings, leaves and flowers as big as her own head! In the workshop we will create our art pieces for the museum of each of us. Inspired by book The Museum of Me by Emma Lewis (Tate Publishing).

18. 9. A proč? Book Club: Mattisse's Garden

Mattisse´s Garden by Samantha Friedman is a simple beautiful story with gorgeous illustrations by Cristina Amodeo (MoMA). It describes Matisse's creative process and it will open children's minds to shape, form and colour. The workshop will be inspired by his paper cuts.
