Revitalisation of the Museum of Applied Arts

BUILDING ADDITIONAL VISITOR FACILITIES AND CREATING A NEW PERMANENT EXHIBITION OF DESIGN

The aim of the project is the transformation of the outdated format of the Museum of Applied Arts into a new form, the Museum of Design.

The project is co-financed by the European Union.

The project will cover the renovation of the museum and the creation of new exhibition spaces - providing access to the deposited collections; establishing a chill-out zone for visitors on the terrace of the Museum of Applied Arts; upgrading the technological equipment within the building, including the purchasing of equipment; restoration and, in the final phase, creating a new permanent exhibition.
