LABORATOŘE ŘEMESEL / HANDICRAFT LAB 2018
Handicrafts Lab in the Museum of Applied Arts
Take time out for design in the first week of October! A three-day event is taking place in the Brno Museum of Applied Arts, at which you can get to know a wide range of Czech and Austrian designers. The event aims to demonstrate that classical handicrafts are not dead-on the contrary: in recent years it has enjoyed great popularity and provides employment for a wide range of creative individuals. Traditional handicrafts (for instance ornamental metal work by Ludwig Kyral) may be seen, as well as works by the youngest designer generation (for instance Bastl Instruments-electronic instruments by Ondřej Merta).
