Graphic design from the Netherlands is internationally known and widely celebrated as highly innovative and influential. This exhibition offers a rich overview of this particular field from approximately 1890, when graphic design entered a period of major technological innovation, to 1990. This exhibition shows the most renowned highlights of Dutch twentieth-century graphic
design. Styles that flourished in this period include Art Nouveau, De Stijl, Expressionism, Dutch Constructivism and Post-War Rationalism. There will be works on display by Jan Toorop, Theo van Doesburg, Bart van der Leck, Piet Zwart and many other Dutch designers.
