The exhibition is a reminiscence of the forgotten native of Brno and superb sci-fi and fantasy llustrator, until recently known and valued only in Czech sci-fi circles and among members of the Czech SF fandom. Rotrekl co-founded the Radar group in 1959 and had his first one-man exhibition in 1960 in the Semafor theatre. He illustrated many ground-breaking and classic science fiction books providing. The exhibition will concentrate on Rotrekl's applied art, futuristic works in books, magazine covers, his graphic design in popular science books for children and posters for famous science fiction films.
