A minute nuance, a tiny shift differentiates the double plans covering the floor of the exhibition space. The hardly discernible difference is one of the examples of a systematic examination that Pavla Sceranková (*1980) has been involved in since her studies at the AVU (2000-2006, under Miloš Šejna and Milan Knížák). Granny Flat z from 2007 is one of the works exemplifying the artist's interest in problems related to memory in which images of memories transformed over time - a favourite domain of imagination - are confronted with reality. The event is held within the framework of the Month of the Czech-Slovak Cultural Solidarity 2009 under the auspices of the Czech Ministry of Culture.
