
The Moravian Gallery in Brno opens up a new exhibition space.
Before entering the permanent exhibition of applied art the visitor will be able to see items normally hidden in the repositories, new acquisitions, etc. The inaugurational exhibition returns to the deepest roots of the Museum of Applied Arts and shows the very first objects acquired for the museum collections soon after its foundation in 1873, including ornamental carvings, glass from Central Europe, oriental ceramics, chinaware, furniture, textiles, metalwork and weapons.
