18 H Opening of the Exhibition for the Jindřich Chalupecký Award 2019

We cordially invite you to the opening of the 30th edition
of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award, the most prestigious Czech award
for visual artists up to 35 years of age.
More information >>> The exhibition of the
finalists of the Jindřich Chalupecký Award 2019 presents new works
by the Comunite Fresca group (Dana Balážová, Markéta Filipová and
Marie Štindlová), Andreas Gajdošík, Baptiste Charneux, Marie
Lukáčová and Pavla Malinová. Thirty years on from the founding of
the Award the exhibition of the finalists is sending a very
different message than that of the early editions. In response to
the current climate situation this year's event is clearly marked
by the decision to supply the whole exhibition with energy from
alternative sources and to use the occasion to calculate, and think
about, its approximate energy demand and carbon
footprint.
