Badatelské návštěvy

The Moravian Gallery allows interested visitors in the professional public to visit/search for collections.

To inquire, you can refer to the Collection Management department that the researcher wishes to visit; approval of the visit is issued by the head of the department. It is best to arrange a visit well in advance (see research days below), specify the collections studied, and preferably also electronically send a pre-completed research note (download in Czech  here ).

The Moravian Gallery in Brno reserves the right to limit the number of objects submitted during research visits for capacity or technical reasons.

Research days:

Wednesday 10 - 16 h at the depository in Řečkovice (free art, collection of furniture and wood)

Thursday 10 - 16 h at Pražák Palace (modern sculpture) and Museum of Applied Arts (collections of metals, glass, oriental, textile, ceramics, photography, graphic design).
