Accessibility and entry for the disabled
Entry into each of the three buildings in the centre of Brno is
barrier-free. Visitors have also available a wheelchair, baby
change desk and a folding push-chair.
Pražákův palác
- Parking is possible at the paid car park adjacent to Besední St.
Barrier-free access with a doorbell at 1.5 m is provided from the
same street. All floors inside the building can be accessed using a
lift. The barrier-free WC is situated on the 4th
floor.
We are sorry, but because of the broken elevator, is
Prazak palace not barrier-free.
Uměleckoprůmyslové muzeum
- Paid parking
possible in front of the hotel situated next to the museum
building. Barrier-free access with a doorbell via the staff
entrance at the side of the building close to the New Town Hall.
All the floors in the building accessible with a lift. The
barrier-free WC is on the ground-floor.
Místodržitelský
palác
- The main entrance to the building is
barrier-free and has a doorbell. Unfortunately, only the
ground floor is barrier-free and at the moment there are no toilets
with facilities for persons on wheelchairs.
The Jurkovič House in Brno-Žabovřesky has
barrier-free access for the public. The lift installed specially
for the disabled allows them free movement and a complete tour of
both floors in the villa.
Josef Hoffmann Museum is not
barrier-free.
Garden, Jurkovič House
