Reconstruction archive

This section contains the archive of the online restoration of the Dušan Samo Jurkovič house launched, thanks to the subsidy from the Norway Grants, in 2009. Information on the state  of the restoration was given weekly in the form of brief reports.

The Jurkovič House in Jana Nečase Street, Brno-Žabovřesky has been administered by the Moravian Gallery, Brno since 2006. In 2006 and 2007 a team of specialists, under the guidance of the Transat architekti studio, performed a thorough survey of the house and research into its contents, followed by a general restoration in 2009-2010. The restoration, financed from the Norway Grants and the Norwegian Financial Mechanisms, was completed in March 2011.
