Accompanying Exhibitions: Furnitures
This exhibition examines three-dimensional objects designed by designers for their schools. These were mostly produced and used in the designers' own classes and studios, and can be seen as an extension of their pedagogical approach - or, at least, as a reflection of their ideas and beliefs about the role of design.
Remakes of furniture pieces by Max Bill, Hans Gugelot & Paul Hildinger, Wolfgang Weingart, Karel Martens and Gerrit Rietveld among others, are displayed according to their original function and use in all the Biennial exhibitions.
Conceived by Radim Peško, Tomáš Celizna, Adam Macháček (CZ).
