The Grand Prix of the Brno Biennial 2012 - The Minister of Culture of the Czech republic Award will be awarded as part of the international competition, while further prizes will be awarded by an international jury made up of leading figures in international graphic design.

Special awards, such as the Mayor of the City of Brno Award for an artist under 35 years old, and the Brno Biennial Award for a contribution to graphic design, will be augmented, in the upcoming biennial, by the Czech Centres Award for graphic design students and graduates, which includes a month's stay in New York. The Visitors' Award will be announced.
