Stickers and stencils are the most recent additions to street art. Its most famous component, graffiti, originated in Philadelphia in the 1960's, becoming widespread in New York in the early 1970's, from whence it extended to west European cities. In the last five years, stickers and stencils have emerged as a form of anonymous, alternative visual communication in Prague's public spaces. The exhibition showcases "originals" taken from Prague buildings, streetlamps, traffic signs, traffic lights, iron and plastic constructions, etc. The project provides a unique documentation of this ephemeral phenomenon, an authentic expression of 21st-century art.
